DELTA®-FLORAXX TOP in warm roofs with an extensive/intensive green cover.
Developed specifically for use in green roofs, DELTA®-FLORAXX TOP, an innovative dimpled sheet, forms a protection and drainage layer with a high load-bearing capacity which is optimised for the requirements of horizontal drainage.
Acting as a protection, filtration, and seepage layer, it retains 7L of water per m² within its thickness of 20mm.
Thanks to its robust octagonal dimples additionally reinforced by ribs, the sheet will safely support even heavy loads.
As the filtration layer is fused to the top of the sheet and does not need to be laid our separately, the substrate for planting may be spread directly on the sheet that prevents water from accumulating.

Harmful environmental and weather influences affect people and building products in equal measure. Steep roof membranes are exposed to UV radiation during the construction phase. If the exposure becomes too high, they can become brittle and lose their function as a second water-bearing layer.

The robust construction of the system enables easy handling, smooth processing and not only protects against driving rain, but also ensures that cold outside air cannot penetrate the construction and reduce the efficiency of the insulation. DELTA®-FLORAXX TOP

The sealed surface must be thoroughly cleaned, so that after installation of the drainage layer no damage can occur to the waterproofing. The waterproofing must be root resistant according to FLL or protected by a root barrier. A protective and separating layer like the DELTAR-BIOTOPVLIES is laid on the waterproofing.

The drainage layer is simply rolled out on the underlayer. Here, the filter stable geotextile facing up. With a blade knife the membrane will be cut to the required length.
Detach the geotextile from the edge of the overlapping sheet and push it behind the smooth overlap of the sheet installed previously.
To extend a sheet, remove the geotextile at the top end, lay two rows of dimples together, and connect the sheets with the DELTAR-FLORAXX connector and the rivets, 5 rivets/2 m.
