DELTA®-MAXX X

Extremely tear-resistant step-through safe sarking and waterproofing sheet

DELTA®-MAXX X features an extreme tear resistance of 500N/5cm lengthwise and crosswise and is distinguished by its outstanding mechanical tolerance. Its unique cold-insensitive overlap adhesive is reliable even at temperatures below freezing. In addition, an overhang of c. 5mm along the edges furnishes extra protection from moisture penetration.

Thanks to its integrated double-faced self-sealing edge and its smooth spunbond backing, DELTA®-MAXX X can be installed quickly. The grid structure on the upper side makes cutting perfectly easy. Because of its Sd value of less than 0.15m as per DIN ISO 12572 DELTA®-MAXX X may be used in fully insulated roofs.

The sheet is absolutely step-through safe when ladders are used and offers a maximum of safety in application, even where roofs with wider batten distances as per DIN 426 are concerned. In addition, it complies with the criteria for fall-though safety. The sarking sheet offers high resistance against hail impact and forms an additional protective shield under hard roofing (resistance against hail impact up to 130kph).

To prove the unusual performance characteristics of this waterproofing sheet, we thought of a genuine endurance test. Daniel Wildt, Germany’s strongest man 2013, applied his very own test to the material – in various disciplines which also appear in the international strongman contests.

Installation of DELTA®-MAXX X

The DELTA®-MAXX X sarking sheet is equipped with adhesive strips above and below. Pull off the backing paper, press down the edge, that’s all. The seam will be immediately wind-proof.
