DELTA®-VENT S PLUS / DELTA®-VENT S

DELTA®-VENT S PLUS/DELTA®-VENT S sheets consist of a tear-resistant, breathable PP spunbond-foil combination incorporating the latest Bico fibre technology . Being thinner and noticeably more evenly and densely arranged, the spunbond fibres provide better strength lengthwise and crosswise. Because of this increased fibre density per square metre of cloth, there are fewer cavities in the protective layer, which improves UV protection.

Both edges of the DELTA®-VENT S PLUS sarking sheet are equipped with an adhesive zone that ensures optimum bonding without requiring a precise overlap. Adhesion is firm from the beginning and gains steadily in stability.

The sheet offers reliable protection thanks to the pioneering strip system in the upper adhesive zone: every individual strip forms a barrier against running water, thus providing extra safety from moisture which might rise into the overlap zone. Also available without integrated adhesive zones under the name of DELTA®-VENT S.

DELTA®-VENT S PLUS/DELTA®-VENT S is a 3-ply sheet, which gives it a great advantage vis-à-vis mechanical loads during installation. The cloth protects the sheet from damage by rough-sawn sheathing boards, while the matte surface prevents dazzle. May be used as temporary roofing under metal coverings, slate, fibre-cement tiles, or shingles.

Installation of DELTA®-VENT S PLUS / DELTA®-VENT S

Its weight of c. 150g per square metre makes installation particularly easy. May be rolled off quickly in perfect alignment without buckling or pulling the sheet out of shape. The matte surface prevents irritating dazzle.
