DELTA®-ALPINA

A robust, vapour-open underlay for low-pitch roofs, laid on sarking boards. Seams are welded with hot air or solvent welding agent for a watertight sub-roof, and it now comes in a heavier grade for extra welding safety.

Features

  • 30-year functional warranty

Dörken guarantees that a professionally installed DELTA®-ALPINA keeps its watertightness (Class W1) for 30 years. If it fails in that time, Dörken replaces the material and also covers the cost of removal and re-installation.

  • Class 1 and Class 2 sub-roofs

Used with the DELTA® system components (DELTA®-ALPINA BAND, DELTA®-ALPINA QSM, DELTA®-TILAXX ULTRA and DELTA®-FLEXX BAND), it lets you build a seam-welded underlay with integrated counter batten (Class 1) or with nail sealing tape under the counter batten (Class 2) to the German ZVDH rules (product data sheet UDB-eA).

  • Safe to work on

The surface is highly slip-resistant and tear-resistant, so installers can move around the roof with confidence.

  • Less waste

The membrane is built up symmetrically, so either side can face up. That means fewer offcuts and lower material costs.

  • Works in cold weather

It can still be processed reliably at low temperatures, which helps avoid weather delays on site.

  • Meets alpine standards

Complies with the demanding Austrian (ÖNORM B 3661 and B 4119) and Swiss (SIA 232/1) requirements for underlays under enhanced and extreme stress.

  • Heavier grammage

The current version is heavier than before, giving an extra safety margin when welding seams.

Equipped with DELTA®-AMS and DELTA®-BiCo technologies.

Where to Use

A robust, vapour-open underlay for low-pitch roofs, laid quickly and safely on sarking boards or another pressure-resistant deck. Trapezoid counter battens are not needed.

Roll the membrane out without creases and fix it in the top and side overlap zones with concealed staples or clout nails.

Seams are welded homogeneously, either with DELTA®-ALPINA QSM solvent welding agent (seam width at least 4 cm) or with hot air (at least 2 cm; 4 cm under ÖNORM B 4119).
