Features

  • Made for solar roofs

Stays vapour-open and copes with short-term temperatures up to +150 °C, which makes it the right underlay beneath solar thermal and PV systems.

  • Very high UV resistance

A special acrylate coating lets it stay exposed to sunlight for up to 52 weeks without expected damage (tested to EN 13859-2: 5,000 h QUV plus 90 days at 120 °C).

  • Flame resistant

Meets Euro fire class B-s1, d0 (EN 13501-1).

  • Highly vapour-open

An Sd value of approx. 0.05 m lets moisture leave the roof easily.

  • Windproof edges

Integrated self-adhesive edges bond the overlaps directly, keeping cold air and moisture out of the insulation and making bonding easier in poor weather.

Where to Use

For fully insulated pitched roofs with or without sarking boards, and for façades.

Under in-roof solar systems

In Germany it can be used as an additional measure for ZVDH roof classes 2 to 5 under in-roof solar thermal and PV systems. The solar manufacturer must confirm the rain-tightness and minimum roof pitch of their system (for example by a test to EN 15601), and a Class 2 roof needs an individual contractual agreement between contractor and client.

Temporary wall protection

Also ideal as temporary weather protection for external walls during construction.
