Features
- Large water reservoir
Stores approx. 7 l/m² of rainwater for dry periods. Excess water drains away through perforations in the sheet and runs off over the roof waterproofing between the dimples.
- About 80% stronger
Octagonal dimples with reinforcing ribs give roughly 80% more compressive strength than standard dimples.
- Vapour-open
Perforations make the sheet diffusion-open (Sd approx. 0.4 m), allowing free drainage and vapour pressure relief. No closed water film can form on the insulation.
- Long-lasting
Safe for drinking water, resistant to chemicals and rot-proof in the ground.
- Flat sheets available
Also supplied as DELTA®-FLORAXX FLAT sheets of 2.35 × 1.00 m: 200 sheets (470 m²) per pallet, compared with 240 m² (6 rolls) per pallet for the roll version.
Where to Use
Green roofs
A protection, drainage and water storage layer for extensive and intensive green roofs. Roll it out dimples-down on a protection fleece (min. 300 g/m²) over the root-resistant waterproofing, add a filter-stable geotextile, then spread the plant substrate and plant as required.
Inverted roofs
Used as a vapour-open cover over the insulation. Lay it on a water-draining separation layer with the dimples facing the insulation, add a filter-stable geotextile, then place the fill (plant substrate, chippings, gravel or crushed stone). Green roofs, terraces and gravel finishes are all possible.
