Features

  • Built to last

Long-term and extreme-condition testing, backed by a European Technical Assessment (ETA), confirm that it keeps performing for many years.

  • Two waterproof layers

A UV-resistant, water-repellent acrylate top coat plus a central PU film. Even if the top coat is damaged by heavy wear or weathering, the membrane stays watertight. The PU film also makes it airtight and windproof.

  • 30-year functional warranty

Dörken guarantees that a professionally installed DELTA®-FOXX PLUS keeps its watertightness (Class W1) for 30 years. If it fails in that time, Dörken replaces the material and also covers the cost of removal and re-installation.

  • Fire class B-s1, d2

Makes it harder for flames to spread, an important part of preventive fire protection.

  • Self-adhesive edges

Integrated adhesive strips bond the overlaps directly, keeping cold air and moisture out of the insulation for better energy efficiency.

  • Fast-shedding surface

A lotus-effect surface makes rainwater run off quickly. With the DELTA® system components it can form a rain-proof sub-roof to the German ZVDH rules.

  • Heat and UV stable

Withstands short-term temperatures up to +150 °C and up to 30 weeks of UV exposure, useful when the roof covering is delayed.

Equipped with DELTA®-AMS and DELTA®-BiCo technologies.

Where to Use

Developed for laying on timber sarking boards, and also suitable laid directly on insulation, as a lining, as temporary roofing, and as a base layer under metal, fibre cement or slate.

Class 2 rain-proof sub-roof

Together with DELTA®-SCHAUM-BAND, DELTA®-FLEXX-BAND and DELTA®-TILAXX ULTRA it forms a seam-joined underlay with nail sealing under the counter battens (ZVDH Class 2). This breathable solution has over 25 years of practical use behind it, but differs from the vapour-tight solution described in the ZVDH rules, so it should be stated in the quotation. An individual contractual agreement between contractor and client is required.

Under slate and metal roofs

With the DELTA® system components it works as a separating and base layer under metal roofs, even at low pitches from 3°. Combined with DELTA®-ENKA VENT it also forms a structured separating layer. With titanium-zinc roofing, on its own or with DELTA®-ENKA VENT, it meets the requirements for hard roofing (flying sparks and radiant heat).

Under slate it is a secure base layer: the low Sd value lets the sarking boards dry out quickly. The rolls are wider and longer than traditional bitumen base layers and can be laid from ridge to eaves, so installation is faster.
