DELTA®-MAXX X is an extremely tear-resistant, step-through-safe roofing membrane. With a tear strength of 500 N/5 cm in both directions, it stands up to ladders and foot traffic on site, also on roofs with wider batten spacing, and meets fall-through safety criteria.

Its cold-insensitive overlap adhesive bonds reliably even below freezing, and an overhang of about 5 mm along the edges gives extra protection against moisture. The double self-sealing edge and smooth spunbond backing make it quick to install, and the grid printed on top makes cutting easy.

With an Sd value below 0.15 m (DIN ISO 12572), it can be used on fully insulated roofs. It also forms an extra protective layer under hard roof coverings, with resistance to hail impact up to 130 km/h.

Features

The sheet is absolutely step-through safe when ladders are used and offers a maximum of safety in application, even where roofs with wider batten distances as per DIN 426 are concerned. In addition, it complies with the criteria for fall-though safety. The sarking sheet offers high resistance against hail impact and forms an additional protective shield under hard roofing (resistance against hail impact up to 130kph).

30 years’ experience, elaborate development work, and the results of extensive laboratory tests are the ingredients of the outstanding quality standard of DELTA®-MAXX X. To prove the unusual performance characteristics of this waterproofing sheet, we thought of a genuine endurance test. Daniel Wildt, Germany’s strongest man 2013, applied his very own test to the material – in various disciplines which also appear in the international strongman contests.

Installation of DELTA®-MAXX X

The DELTA®-MAXX X sarking sheet is equipped with adhesive strips above and below. Pull off the backing paper, press down the edge, that’s all. The seam will be immediately wind-proof.
