DELTA®-PT: Dimpled Membrane for Damp Basement Walls
DELTA®-PT is a dimpled sheet with a plaster mesh, used to renovate and dry-line damp basement walls from the inside. Its 8 mm dimples create a ventilated air gap between the damp wall and the new plaster, so the finished wall stays dry.
The mesh gives a stable base for gypsum, lime or cement plaster, and plasterboard can be fixed too. The sheet is almost transparent, so you can see the wall behind while fixing. Ventilation is completed top and bottom with DELTA®-PT PROFIL. It is also used for tunnel renovation.

Advantages
- Long-term durability
Rot-resistant for 25 years, giving a sturdy renovation base even in damp, alkaline conditions.
- Translucent
The nearly clear sheet keeps the substrate visible for precise fixing.
- Ventilated cavity
8 mm dimples create an air gap between the damp wall and the plaster, and ventilation profiles at floor and ceiling keep air moving to prevent damp.
- Full-surface vault sealing
In tunnels, it channels rock water to drainage pipes at the base, so a reinforced shotcrete inner shell can be applied afterwards.
Where to Use
On damp walls, a room-side moisture barrier between the masonry and new wall finishes. The laminated base fabric takes gypsum or lime-cement plaster and adhesive for plasterboard. In tunnels and vaults, a drainage layer for fissure and strata water and a firm support for reinforced shotcrete.
Lay overlapping vertical sheets fixed with dowels about 30 cm apart. DELTA®-PT PROFIL at the wall base, top and floor/ceiling edges gives clean plaster edges and airflow. Do not use gypsum plaster under constant spray water or relative humidity above 90%.
