Stays pliable at low temperatures, so it resists cold cracking and tearing.
- Certification
General building inspectorate test certificate (AbP P-AB/13525/15-2013). At about 0.4 mm thick, it meets the wall barrier requirements of DIN 18533-1 and is light and easy to handle.
- Shear strength
Embossed patterns on both faces key into the mortar, meeting application type MSB-Q for basement external walls under shear loads.
- Rot resistance
Withstands normal masonry and soil conditions and stays functional long term.
- Easy processing
Unroll onto the fresh mortar bed, align and press into the brickwork.
Where to Use
Horizontal damp-proof course in masonry in contact with the ground, to DIN 18533 water exposure class W4-E. Lay in a single layer on a level mortar bed and roll it into the fresh mortar. Overlap by at least 20 cm, or 5 cm if bonded with DELTA®-THAN.
Choose a width that prevents moisture bridges on either side of the wall, extending at least 5 cm beyond the masonry to connect to the building waterproofing.
