DELTA®-PROTEKT: EVA Damp-Proof Course
A bitumen-resistant EVA wall barrier with fleece on both sides. Can be used as a horizontal damp-proof course in solid masonry, as an L or Z barrier in cavity masonry, or under sole plates in timber frame construction.

Advantages

Meets the DIN 18533 requirements for wall barriers in water exposure class W4-E.
- Slip resistance
The fleece on both sides grips the mortar well, qualifying it for application type MSB-Q.

At the same thickness, about half the weight of PVC wall barriers, so easier to handle.

Where to Use
In solid masonry, set into the bed joint with mortar on both sides, between the floor slab and the first course, to block rising damp. In cavity masonry, an L or Z barrier at the base of the wall and at window sills and lintels. In timber frame construction, a horizontal seal under the sole plate and an L barrier in cavity builds.
